HOW TO DO IT
  1. 01Sit or stand tall with the shoulders relaxed.
  2. 02Without tilting the head down, glide the chin straight back — like making a double chin.
  3. 03Hold 5 seconds, feeling the front of the throat work and the back of the neck lengthen.
  4. 04Release slowly. 8–10 reps, several times a day.
COACHING CUES
  1. 01Glide back, don't nod down.
  2. 02It should feel like the skull slides on the neck.
  3. 03Little and often beats one long session.
COMMON MISTAKES
  1. 01Nodding the chin to the chest instead of retracting.
  2. 02Cranking hard enough to strain — this is a gentle drill.
  3. 03Doing it once a week and expecting a change.

Note: Reference material, not a prescription. Load, volume and whether this movement suits you at all depends on your assessment — if something hurts, stop and get it looked at.
